RO Question
Was wondering if anyone knew the life span of a ro membrain. Would it be the same as the cartridges which is about six months.

I found out yesterday that you can shorten the life if you use one of the booster pumps, and go a little higher PSI than is recommended. I have a 75 gpd RO/DI unit and I usually change the membrane once a year. Your specs should say how to check and see if the membrane is goin bad.

Hello Charlie, and thanks for the information. I did some reading online and your right. I was checking out the manual before hand and could not get a straight answer. I'm considering getting a TDS Meter.

Good move - a tds meter is a great tool to check on the performance of your RO and DI stage
