Tinting?
Has anyone ever used the stuff to tint windows for the back of their tank? I don't really want to go through painting my new one if I don't have to.
I'd love to hear your opinions and past experiences. Thanks! |

I saw a tank is Columbus that used it. It worked great! From the front, it looked like the back was painted black, but you could still see through from behind the tank in case anything needed to be picked up.

I have it on my clownfish rearing tank on all sides to restrict light from the fry. when they get older I peel the front piece off so I can see better what is going on in there. Just make sure your class is clean (no salt creep or residue) and use lots of water to get it positioned and help with the removal of air pockets. Steven Pro is right the darker the tint, the more black it looks.
