Glasscages.com aquariums

Has anyone actually bought or seen one of their tanks. They seem to be very busy.
Thanks.

I just bought a 240 tall from the about 4 months ago and they done a great job. Mine has the overflows on the ends so that it can be viewable on both sides for an in-wall installation. A friend of mine bought a 540 from them about 2yrs ago and I have never heard a complaint out of him either. Their prices are very reasonable and if you don't live close to them, they do deliver when they go to shows. There is a link on their website that has all the upcoming delivery spots and the shipping cost is cheap considering the weight. I think it cost me about $70 bucks to deliver to Indianapolis from Nashville. Keep in mind that if you see a date on their delivery schedule, they need the order about 2-3 week prior. If you go with traditional freight, it’s a bit pricey.. Hope this helps!

Glasscages Tank

I have owned a 180-gal. tank for 2 1/2 years and highly reccomend them.

This tank has thick glass and tank is built with solid bracing.

I live about 2.5 hrs. from them so I picked mine up myself.

Its a great tank and would definately buy another one from glasscages.

I went to a pet expo in Edison, New Jersey and met the owner in person. He had three set-ups displayed. I was impressed and am presently saving for a 90 gallon reef tank that I will order from them.
90 gallon tank with low lead glass, stand, canopy, overflow with black cover, two drilled holes with bulk head connections, a sump, delivery to Edison, NJ for pick-up by me: $960.00.
You apply the stain of your choice.

Thanks for all the replies. I gave them a call and felt rushed. I think as soon as they found out I was checking them out instead of ordering I was shut down. Didn't get to ask my last three questions which I thought were important to me. But they had other phones ringing that needed answered. I then E-mailed them about a week later. I still didn't get my questions answered. All I got was the price which I said I already knew. I did get one other question answered which was basically why should I buy their product above others. I was hoping to hear about the pride in their work, the time that they have been in business or anything. I got " ...we are running at capacity buy your tank where you feel comfortable". Both times that I contacted them I was never asked who I was or given a name of the person who I was speaking with. This by far was the worst I have ever been treated when seeking to buy something in this hobby. I am taking their advice and getting my tank at my local dealer from another company.

I agree with you 100% Iron Crab. They told you to buy where you feel most comfortable and your experiance with them was most uncomfortable, essentially they told you not to buy from them. To me, how you are treated is more important than the product itself.
