Refugium up and running

Got my refugium installed and running this week. The wires from all of the plugs is a complete mess and nightmare but I havent yet found a solution for the plugs for they are all just kind of crammed down there. That will be my next thing to figure out. I have tried several things but none of them have worked yet.

Maddog refugium
2 ehiem pumps for circulation
algea (forget the name but it is supposedly very easy to take care of)
cpr cs100 ( I think that is 600gph)
ca 2200 return pump which pushes the water through my UV filter(rated at 900gph) before going back to the main tank(I think is rated at 600gph)
I put my aquac remora hob skimmer in the fuge, the pump is in the baffle area with the return pump and the skimmer returns the water back into the fuge area of the tank.
2 24watt HO bulbs
2" deep sand bed with some of the small pieces of live rock that I had in my tank that were anywhere from 1/2" to 2" which I used as a sort of blockade in front of my pumps to keep the algea from rolling towards the pumps from the intake of the fuge.

There is a HUGE HUGE difference in water quality since I put this fuge in. Live and learn I guess. I should have put a fuge in to begin with and I strongly reccomend to anyone thinking about starting into this hobby that they get one as well. Even a cheap fuge set-up will do absolute wonders for your aquarium.
