Quarantine Tank
Was wondering what is the appropriate way to set up a quarantine tank. Would the tank be bare bottom, or with sand/gravel? Do you use carbon and all that good stuff? Would I add any type of medication? If so what type?

Normally a q-tank is pretty bare... if you put anything in it for the fish to hide in, a piece of PVC pipe works. Many medications are absorbed by carbon, so if you are treating the tank (some people would call that a hospital tank instead of a q-tank), you would not use carbon. Basic is better.
