The start of my 240
I have finally got to the point in room additions, that I can work on what really matters!! I got the tank from www.glasscages.com back in November, and now I'm only a week or so away from adding h2o.

Thanks for the comments! I will post pics as things progress. Speck's Pet Supply on the corner of North Scatterfield and Cross St is about the only place in Anderson. They don't have a huge selection, but they carry some fish and corals. I usually drive like you said to Indy to Premium Aquatics, as they always have a great selection and reasonable prices. I don't think Muncie has much of anything either.

Re: The start of my 240
Well it’s been along time since I have updated this. The 1000 sq ft worth of room additions that I have done all by myself are complete!! Thank God! Unfortunately I was told by the boss (if you know what I mean) that the tank would be the last thing on the list to complete. It has been up and running for about a 45 days, but I have had problems trying to get rid of micro bubbles from my sump. So the sump has since been removed, and I am in the process of rebuilding it. I've only put about 50lbs of rock in the tank to start the cycling process. Once it is up and running with no problems, I will then move all the stuff (rock/fish/corals) from my old tank to the new one. I’m sure I will have to get more rock, but I won't know what I will need until everything has been moved over. I built stand out of PCV to build the rock structures on to save some money on rock. This will also provide hiding places for the fish once all the rock is in place.

Re: The start of my 240
Just finished the other side of the tank. My first DIY attempt at cabinet making which was time consuming, but saved a lot of money. I can now start on stocking the tank.
