Fluval FX5??

Anyone using this filter for a saltwater set up? I'm about to set up a 110g salteater tank, and am thinking about using the filter as oppoes to using at wet/dry. Any help appreciated.
Thanx

What kinda saltwater tank are you setting up ? FO ? Reef ? Either way the FX isn't going to give you the bio. filter you are going to need. Also it's still only a meck filter. I personal use a Ocean Clean with a Quiet One 4000HH it works wonderful for a mech filter almost too good. Plus with the FX5 coming in at nearly $300 I think you can do much better for the money. I would buy a cheap mech and go with a better skimmer. Just my 2 cents.

Use the money to set up a sump and get a decent skimmer.

I have to agree with Reefland, def. do a sump, not a wet/dry tho. I'm not too sure what kinda mech filter to use with a sump set-up tho.
