    tank

    is there any difference between repttile tanks and fish tanks if not could a reptile tank be used to make a sump tank

    Many standard glass tanks made by the major manufacturers use a thinner grade of glass than if the same dimension tank were made for fish. They have to use a thicker glass to hold back the weight of water. But, they assume that with reptiles the tank will not be filled with water and use thin glass for cost savings.

    so that would be a no to use a reptile tank as a sump
