Question Need Help Deciding On Pump

I am getting ready to move from a 55 to 75. With my 55 I was using a Marineland Bio-Wheel. With my new 75 gallon I went with the ProClear wet/dry Pro 75. I need to purchase a return pump for this and I do not know what to get. I need a good pump but also not to costly since I have wrapped up alot of my free money into this new tank, stand, and wet/dry.

I am a big fan of E. G. Danner/Supreme Mag-Drive pumps. Very reliable but also inexpensive.

eheim is, imo, the best submersible pump, period. it cost a lot more, but when you replace it half as much it evens out.

A mag 5 or 7 would work great and give good flow.

Agree, Mag Drives are good pumps.

Make it 4 in favor of MAG. I have 2 MAG 12's, one for return, one for skimmer, and a MAG 5 running my chiller. It works GREAT for me!

I havent owned an eheim, but have a mag 7. The mag is a great pump. Powerful and pretty quiet.

I use the QuietOne. But they are not too cheap, But I would also recommend the Rio Hyperflow series. I hear they are really good.
