I'm sure some mechanical engineer will correct me if I'm wrong, but using the formula of Pi times diameter to get the cross sectional area,
2" x Pi < 2 x 1.5" x Pi
You would have more flow to your pumps with 2-1.5" outlets or approximately the same with one 3" outlet. Also any angles in the pipe will decrease the flow further. You don't want to restric flow on the "in" side of your pump - it damages the motor.
Just my theoretical opinion (which may be wrong).
