Help needed on a ASM G4

The ASM G4 has a sedra 7000 pump that came with the skimmer. The problem I am having is that the airline intake is not drawing any air into the skimmer. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks Ed

Make sure the ailrine is not plugged up with something like a shrad of plastic, dust, or salt creep. Also, how deep is the water that the skimmer is sitting in?

The airline is not pluged up with anything. I can blow into the airline with no problem. Also if I suck on the airline water will come real easy. The skimmer sits in 4" of water in the sump. Should it be deeper?

Make sure that the pump has the right impeller in it. My ASM G2x has two sedra 3500 and one had the wrong impeller.
