Whats the best controlling/controlling device which tells you the pH, Salinity, Calcium, Hardness and can it also measure the Nitrite,Nitrate and Ammonia levels?

Hey Otters!

I purchased a Neptunes Systems Aqua Controller Pro3. It will do everything. It may even make me breakfast, I just have to look at the manual. Seriously though, they also make a less expensive controller that may suit your need. You should decide exactly what you would like it to do and then compair the different brands. Sorry to be so general. It is just hard to say what would be right for your application without knowing all the particulars. Let us know what you decide....

cool there is a device that will tell you all the levels of all that stuff just by looking at a display?
Rather than having to arse about with chemicals and test kits and hydrometers?

The only one of those parameters that the Neptune Systems Aquacontroller can measure is the pH.

You would still need test kits to measure your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, calcium and alkalinity levels and a refractometer to measure your salinity. There are some extremely expensive instruments that can measure those but we're talking in the thousands of dollars.
