Need a Kalk reactor pump

Hey all,
I have a Geo kalk reactor using a MJ1200. I'm going though impellers like mad and their getting hard to find. I'm looking for a pump with 1\2" pipe fittings and NO ceramic shafts, any ideas?

Does anybody know if the Ehiem pumps use pipe threads\fittings or are they all barb fittings? also, do they have ceramic shafts and guides?

I've got the same reactor and just changed my first impeller after about 6 months. How often are you changing them?

I don't know if an eheim will last any longer and I think the impellers are more expensive. They have barb, and I believe you can unscrew the top barb and put in a fitting, not sure what size it is though.

I've got a Eheim 1250 (3??gph) sitting here with no impeller. Make you a deal on the pump if you wanna try it out, you'll need an impeller though. PM me if interested.

Do you know if the ehiem impellers are ceramic on ceramic?

I believe they have a ceramic one and a metal one. The ceramic costs a bit more.
