Easy ideas for RO/DI shutoff?

I always forget to turn off the water for my RO/DI unit. I currently have a livestock-type float system that's supposed to stop the flow of water but because the flow is so weak, not enough pressure builds up to lift the float valve.

Does anyone have any easy, cheap ways to install a shutoff valve?

Thanks

Nate

Go to Home depot and get a hose Bib timmer. I've been using one for years to top off my top off drum. You can use the auto setting to top off as much as you want a few times a day\week or manul setting to top off for x amount of minutes.

heres a link to the one i use

its the best 20 bucks I've ever spent for my reef....we've all flooded the garage\laundry room and or kitchen because we forget the RO\DI unit is running. I know a guy that used one of these to top off his tank\sump
