UV sterilizer lamps emit UV-C radiation at 254 nm. As far as I know, it has no effect at all on the water chemistry.
BTW, all UV-C is absorbed in the stratosphere. No naturally occurring UV-C reaches the Earth's surface.
I am wondering if long term exposure (slow flow) of water to a UV filter will cause changes in the water chemistry? i only ask because i know that uv exposure can cause molecular changes to air..
any thoughts??
