I have tried piping my skimmer into two different tanks one 45 gal and one 33. It is adequate enough to do both but can not get the flow correct it is filling to quick or draining to quick i have been using ball valves to regulate and still no luck is there an easier way?

Exactly how are you trying to plumb it into two different tanks? You will never get the flow balanced using ball valves.

tank piping
I have a feed and return going into the 33 from my sump with the supply being regulated by a ball valve and the return being regulated by an adjustable gate valve smaller increments
I have gotten it very close but it still not perfect the other tank has its own overflow so it is functioning properly |
