Has anyone used an ecotech marine vortex powerhead?
I am looking in to buying a wave maker, and have been looking at the tunze wavebox, or maybe the tunze 6100 with controller, but I now am thinking about the vortex, ecotech is supposed to be coming out with a controller, I am wondering if it will be worth the wait.

I've seen them a few times. Eric at Fragfamer has a couple running on his main display tank. This might sound crazy but I've heard that heat might be a problem. If it were me I'd hold off a few months or more and see what else pops up regarding these and other stuff.
