RE: Flow

I'm thinking for re-routing my return lines toward the side and front of my tank to point them toward the reef itself. I currently have them pointing from the rear toward the front glass but it seems the flow is low on the reef itself. I also use a Tunze 6000 that too will basically by-pass and blow across really benefiting the corals very little. I'm not trying to blast the corals with flow only evenly distributing the flow form my returns to the corals. Any thoughts??advise?

Thanks

I don't really consider the return from my sump as a contributor to flow, so I would look at alternative methods. Perhaps including another Tunze 6000 would do the trick?

I know alot of people don't like the RIO line, but my seio is really nice, and has held up very well so far.

I think it is the older Rio return pumps that people aren't fond of. I haven't really heard anything negative about the SEIO's.

Don't mean to highjack the thread, but have you heard much out of the Hyperflows ? The power consumtion is really really great compared to the others on the market. But back to the other The seio's I have area really great and very well priced.
