Maxi Jet 1200 spiting out micro bubbles?

Hello everybody,
Im wondering if anyone out there would know why one of my two maxi jet 1200's is "burping" micro bubbles once or twice a min. They are both set up the same with the little plastic plug in them.

The one that is blowing bubbles is about 4"(bottom of filter) away from my sand,my other one is about 9" above the sand on opposite sides of the tank(45 g) hope that helps

Are they accumulating bubbles in their input? Do you have bubbles from another source?

You know what Scott I think it is.
I have my heater about 2" away from that powerhead and it always is covered in bubbles.

Is that normal?

And then their is my piece of crap skimmer that is always putting bubbles in the tank but that is on the other side of the tank

Should I move the heater maybe?

I don't know about moving the heater, but if your tank has bubbles from another source, the powerheads are constantly intaking these bubbles and spitting them back out. So look at the sources of bubbles and not the powerheads for this annoyance.

Kinda like having new plumbing, it will have bubbles up until it "slimes" up again. This is what I have found in my experience.
