Saltwater Evaporate
My Saltwater aquarium evaporate more than my freshwater aquarium.
I use direct sunlight for my lighting. Blocked by glassBlock at my roof. No neon, my freshaquarium with same size located beside the saltwater, same direct sunlight + neon at night. I try to calculate, maybe around 1 Liter for 3 or 4 days. Is it normal? Saltwater Aquarium-100 Liter/25 Gal |

Hi Leonard,
![]() That sounds about right to me. Our 75 gallon evaporates about 1 gallon per day. |

Leak?
I thought its from the leak of the sump. I check any water or drops around the sump, its clear or dry. So, its ok right?
Sorry for my bad english. |

With 500 watts of metal halide lighting, my 450-liter reef aquarium evaporated about 5 liters per day.
