Canister Filter Question
Is there any problem with using an old pool canister filter on an aquarium (assuming, of course, it's all clean and has a new filter and all that)? Don't ask me why - she brought up that option.

Re: Canister Filter Question
Check out this page:
DIY Canister Filter You'd spend a ton of money in replacement filter elements using the little pool filters. Personally I prefer to use filter socks, but this canister filter does work like a charm. |

Re: Canister Filter Question
The canister filter is excellent for polishing the water every once in a while but not as convenient as filter socks when it comes to 'every day filtering'.
The canister does remove all particles from the water. |
