Rated for 300 gallon
But I will be using it on a 75 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump. The pump is about 800gallon an hour. It is 6 inches around and 23 inches tall.

err....what whit the link?
Wow no comments.I dont know if thats good or bad. I guess I will find out when I hook it up.My audio gear came from china and they did a good job on the Dac and the tube amp and saved me a bunch of money. So much that even a cave man could do it.![]()
that skimmer looks ok to me.
OK thank you. It kinda looks like the Euro-reef design except it doesnt have a needle wheel. I am way under its rating so I figure I will be allright.I was also thinking of adding a airpump to the air inlet. Do you all think its a good idea to try?
Is that the ps160 or the 520? I think its the 520 with the venturi. A good skimmer imo with the prober mod's. Jebo/Odyssea gets bashed for making cheap skimmers, i like them. This skimmer works awesome for the price and you can mesh mod it and get much more skimmate from it. Good luck!
Its the 520. Shipped to the door with pump it was 120 dollars.
If you dont mind me askin, what is a mesh mod?
Sorry ran a search and found out what a mesh mod is.
May try sometime. Thanks again
Roddey, it will cost you about a buck, and double your bubble production. I thought about getting the 520 to mod it. Many people have turned it into a recirculating skimmer and had great luck with it. The ps160 is the new updated odyssea 520 and sells for under 75 shipped to your door. It is a needlewheel skimmer instead of a venturi. I think it will perform great. Keep me posted how it does.
Just an FYI. I bought an odyssea PS75. Put it on my 75 on a whim.....Pulled black skimate every day. Now got a PS 160. No instructions ....have to figure it out but it kicks the coralife 220 I had in the butt in my opinion. I'm selling the coralife and spending the difference on corals!!!!!!!!!!! I really like these skimmers. Certainly the plastic is lower in quality.......but just don't use it for a hammer and things should be fine.
