    tank problem

Its loosing an 1/2 an inch of water every 2 days. I cant find a leak and dont know if its evaporating. My room is in the 60-70 degrees. I had this tank since I was a kid and repaired it 4 years ago.

    What do you all think?

Every other day I have to fill it up with water and I dont want to run out of the pre-mixed salt within the week.

Edied to add: My QT tank has not lost any water since I filled it

Yep. I got distilled water and slowly added it to the tank

    I have 1 more question.

The salt is crusting up and some of it fell in the water is that ok and what do I use to wipe away the crust?
