What is a good RO/DI unit for my needs?

I'm tired of paying my LFS $0.50 a gallon for water and have been looking at a small unit for my needs. My tank is small and I won't need much in the way of water. I'll probably need less than 15 gallons in an average week and maybe 40 gallons in a week with large water changes.

It seems like most of the ones I see are meant to be installed and ran constantly. I'd kind of just like something simple that I can hook up and use to refill my top off jugs and such.

Is there anything specific I need to look for in a good unit? The options are a bit confusing at the moment and I don't want to waste my money on a super unit that I don't need, but I also don't want to buy a piece of junk.

I just installed a 5 stage Oceanwave RO/DI unit from the filter guys. It cost me less than 200 dollars and this unit is nice. They will work with you with whatever you want. I installed my unit in less than 2 hours and that was hooking it up to water lines and adding an auto topoff to my sump. Check out the website The Filter Guys

I think any 4 stage unit is a worthwhile investment, regardless of how much water you need to produce in a day. We have many good RO/DI unit sponsors at Reefland, any of them would be a great choice.
