Coil Denitrator

Anyone using one for any length of time? I'd appreciate any feedback you may have. Seems like a decent solution, my Nitrates are running around 10-15 and this seems like the answer. I could build one in an afternoon, so I'm sure there is a drawback that I am missing?

Re: Coil Denitrator

I ran one for some time awhile back.

They go through a cycle when first starting up. Mine go up to putting out 50ppm before it dropped down to 1ppm after the cycle.

Then it ran for over a year before one day going back up over 50ppm on the output. I took it offline and never used one again. I did the double coil method on mine.

HERE is a ton on info on them.
