Question Orca Hang-On Refugium

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience related to the Orca Systems "Hang-On Profuge Refugium"? It seems too good to be true - a refugium with several compartments, a needle-wheel skimmer with pump, 25 watt power compact lighting - all for (I believe) $160!

What size tank will it go on? Also do you have link to the one you are looking at? I did a Google search and saw a few different types.

Re: Orca Hang-On Refugium

It will go on a 32 gallon reef. The website is: Orca Systems Custom Protein skimmers and Refugiums. This shows a 24". I've got about 23" max. In the meantime, I ordered a 14" refugium/skimmer from Aquatraders that looks exactly the same in the photos for only $49. If I'm making a mistake with the whole concept, at least I won't be too far in the hole!

Re: Orca Hang-On Refugium

It looks good and I do not see why it shouldn't work for you. The only drawback I can see is the efficiency of the skimmer. I might be a hit and miss thing.

The basic concept of a good refugium is there though.
