I have a agua clear 50 power head in my tank, it does a good job, But it seems to be blowing air bubbles out once in a while, I clean it and everything. Why could be the problem?

Is the intake sucking water from an area with a lot of micro bubbles or is the powerhead hanging at an angle? Sometimes my MJ 1200's do that but I don't let it bother me. A few micro bubbles won't hurt. In fact when I think about it I hook up an air pump and feed the outlet into the intake of a powerhead and let it blow around the tank for a while. The corals slime up and release a bunch of stuff. I think it helps them since the reefs get churned up and filled with micro bubbles at times.
