    Aquamaster 600 HOB Refuge ?

I can get a New Aquamaster 600 . It looks big . Has anyone used it before , or Even turned it into a HOB Refuge ?

Is it bigger than the aquaclear 110 ?

Is there a way to stop the air buble from going thru the filter ? It says it always airbubble into the filter area for a better filtration ? can i stop the Bublbes ?

    Thanks for any input .

Re: Aquamaster 600 HOB Refuge ?

The only HOB refugium I'm familiar with is the CPR 13". I used it on a 20 gallon nano and it did ok. The next system I build for myself the refugium and display ratio will be 1:1 and gravity fed.

I really don't think that would be functional as a refugium. If it did work the impact of it would be extremely minimal. If you still want to try it then I'm sure you can plug the air injection up with silicone or something.
