Re: My Tank Build
If you think they are going downhill, it would probably be best to move them. In reality, only you can tell, you are just going to have to keep a close eye on things. Wish you luck!!!!

Re: My Tank Build
If I understand correctly, you have these fish in anotehr tank with less than "good" water conditions? If that is the case, I would go ahead and move them to the new tank.

Re: My Tank Build
Yes Reefland. The water is gone south in my former "rock tank" but the fish are still holding out right now. I'm tryin to make it as long as I think they are still safe.

Re: My Tank Build
Where's the best place online to buy a good clean-up crew? That doesn't charge an arm and a leg for shiping?

Re: My Tank Build
I haven't used them yet but they seem to have some good prices. Check out one of our new sponsors, Reefscavengers.

Re: My Tank Build
Kyle I order mine from Blue Zoo Aquatics.
They have some great packages for good prices. They pack and ship them well and even followed up on my last order to make sure I got everything ok. They also put more of each species that I ordered in the bags just in case some were lost in the shipping. Blue Zoo Aquatics :: Products List They have an all snail package and some mixes so check it out. I also want to add that I prefer a snail/crab mix because I believe the mixture does a better janitorial job. This causes me to replenish snails more often because yes the crabs do kill/steal their shells so it's a bigger financial burden but I belive it's worth it.

Re: My Tank Build
I guess you mean LFS? I'm not at all up on the abbreviations! If that is what you meant then the only thing really local is Petco and I'm not very trusting of them right now. The fish have ich very bad and they only have turbo snails for the most part. I wish we had a good pet store..........

Re: My Tank Build
That would be amazing. There's not a "quality" one within a 2 hour drive of here! That's what I get for Arkansas!

Re: My Tank Build
Lol, well it was all here this morning at 9:30. I just got done putting it all in. They look great. The snails have coraline on the shells. The emeralds are all descent size. Crabs were all alive. Everything is great. I must say, I will use Reeftopia again!!! Did I say they had great prices too? Prolly the best i've seen in fact!
