Red Sea Berlin Turbo Classic Protein Skimmer question?

so i want to buy this and i know it stands 21" tall and my stand is 29" tall i was just wondering if any one has this skimmer if the can take the cup off and place it on top of the over flow tube and tell me how tall it is so i can know what kind of clearance im working with? I have that unit. Are you trying to find out if you have room to take the cup on and off? If so 8" is more than enough room to remove the cup. If you still want an exact measurement i can have you one tonight.
