grounding probe question
I noticed today that my grounding probes are almost completely encrusted with coralline algae. If they do get covered will they cease to function properly?

Re: grounding probe question
Yeah having been in the military I'm familiar with Preventative maintenance but is it possible for coralline to seal off a ground?

Re: grounding probe question
That is a good question Samper. I am not real sure if it would or not but I would definitely clean it off routinely.

Re: grounding probe question
Yes it will add resistance to the probe thus lessen the conductivity, sorta like an insulator, soak it in pure vinegar long enough to make it throughly clean.
