I did a search to try and find out what everyone likes to use as their fuge substrate, but the threads were from 2002. I am thinking views may have changed. Here are some of the popular choices I have found. Which do you like and why?
Mineral Mud Carib Sea Refugium Substrate
Kent Marine BioSediment
EcoSystem Mineral Mud
Carib Sea Live Sand
Walt Smith's refugium Mud
I am waiting to put my HOB Fuge on the tank until I return from my little Christmas vacation.

I use both live sand and mud... :-)

375 gallon tank....... SOLD
675 gallon wood tank in design phase.

I voted live sand, but for cost reasons I basically buy dry sand and let the LR's inoculate it w/life
