Protein skimming?
I may have this way wrong, but shouldn't the skimmer increase it's skimmate production immediately after feeding?
I know additives will affect the performance, but I thought adding Cyclops-eeze would make it go crazy. When adding my homemade frozen blend, the skimmer stops production for a while. That's the opposite of what I thought would happen. Thanks

It is most likely due to some oil or something in the food that is affecting the skimmer. But it isn't a problem as long as the skimmer starts producing again.
