    Carbon in sump?

If you run carbon in your sump, how do most run it? I had first thought of a phosban reator and put it in there, but I wonder if just dropping it into the return section of the sump in filter bags wouldn't be sufficient and less expensive. Thoughts?

I run carbon 24/7 and use it in a filter bag. I tie it to the drain pipe so it's in a super high flow area of the sump. I change half of the contents of the bag out every 2 weeks.

I run carbon frequently as well... I use the knee high panty hose (.99 for 3 pair) as a bag and place it under the two returns in the sump. It has worked out well.
