Sequence or AmpMaster Pump

I am in the market for a new closed loop pump and am wondering which of these is the most reliable and the quietest? I know with the AmpMaster you need to get the heavy duty reverse marine seal to avoid leaks.
Which would you get if money were not an issue?

Re: Sequence or AmpMaster Pump

Either are great pumps, I had a few complaints about changing the seals & yes you probably will change those out more then Sequence but sequence to me puts in a little more heat because of the seal they use is stainless which transfers heat better than what the amp master uses, so you have a trade off there, they both are very conservative on power & quite. Now sequence makes the Dart that is smaller I use the 4200 which is only a larger impeller but is dead silent, lots of flow & no heat issues but your limited by large 2" plumbing vrs the larger pumps 1 1/2" & higher flow rates, another trade off. So with that said you have one extra option with the dart, smaller pump.

Re: Sequence or AmpMaster Pump

I am also curious as to what people think of these pumps? I am looking at a Sequence Snapper or Dart for my future 75g build.
