Pan World PW-55

Maybe a stupid question, but does anyone know which way the water flows in a PanWorld PW-55 pump? I made the assumption it goes into the end and out the top, but I'm not getting any flow so I think I'm wrong. I'd make the change, but now I don't have enough hose, enough time, or enough patience. I hate working in tight spaces.

If that's not enough, I have to figure out how to tighten the bulkhead in a space too small for pliers that fit the bulkhead.

Wish I could this one back... I used to think I was a smart fellow, but beginning to wonder. I didn't remove one of the plastic caps, duh. Not that it matter, there's no way this pump can run in my living room. Wow is this noisy. The ultimatum has been made, the tank goes(at least this pump) or the tank and I go.

Time for a new plan.
