    Question about AquaC remora skimmer

Where should I place the cup? Does it matter how high or low the cup is?

I have it right in the middle because I didn't know any better. thanks!

If you put the rubberband way at the bottom of the cup it will skim dryer and produce very dark goop, if you put the rubberband at the top of the cup or don't use it at all it will skim wetter and will look more like weak tea. It's up to you where you put it but also depends on how much stuff you want to pull from your water. I usually place it near the middle but sometimes I raise the cup a bit to reduce the wetness if it seems to be skimming more than usual. I have a remora pro and my daughter has a remora, we both think it's great although my daughter's seems to skim way too much. She has to empty the cup everyday even with the cup raised to the max.

Oh okay I see. What would be wrong with taking out too much of the crap you don't want in there anyways!? haha! is it just because you will take out a lot of water and have to empty out the cup a lot more than you'll want to???

Weez has you on the right track. I also have this skimmer on my 80, and this is probably the best skimmer I have seen for the price, I love it.
Skimming wet or dry just runs to personal preferance. I like mine right in between the 2 choices.
