Gear from Craigslist

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the planning stages for my 1st marine (FOWLR) tank and have found some gear (acrylic 75g tank, stands, ~30g wet\dry sump, overflow, pump) for a decent price from craigslist.

I'm going to go inspect the gear before I decide whether to buy it, but I was wondering if there were any specific questions I should ask about the equipment. The only thing that comes to mind is whether any medication was used in the tank (ie: Copper).

Is there anything else I should ask about the equipment? What should I look for (good \ bad signs) when I physically inspect the gear?

Definitely ask if copper was used, if all of the equipment works and the age and most importantly ensure the tank doesn't leak and has no unsightly scratches.
