About LinkBacksI bought it as a new 125.gal filter and the guy shipped me one suited for a 300gal.+ all the media, bio-balls, and the CA2200 I bought for just over $200.
This thing is HUGE!!! So now, it this too much for a piddly 75gal. tank or just better filtration?

I don't think there is a such thing as over filtering, but would be concerned with using a traditional wet/dry filter. Basically, they are not needed and if not cared for properly can cause problems (nitrate factory from the bio-media). The only way to prevent this is to constantly clean the bio-media and then the work out-weighs the benefits.
