I've seen at a couple of lfs they have "sand" that is called crushed coral. Basically, crushed coral crushed to sand size.

Would this be beneficial? I'm using just play sand right now and while I have nothing to compare it to, I think it may play a role in the cyno and other nuisance algae/bacteria that finally seems to be under control.

Would this crushed coral sand be any good?
