How to price equipment for sale?

I am looking for input on how to price some aquarium equipment. All used respectfully and in good shape. Either individual or lump sum for a local (SF Bay Area) buyer. Thanks.

    1) Plexi Aquarium 48wX13dX20H - 55g w/ scratches but easily overlooked when filled.
    1a) 48" oak stand 20" h w/ two doors
1b) Oak 13" light housing with IceCap 430 ballast & setup for 2 46" lamps and mounting for Aquastarlight Aqualine lighting
    2) Aquastarlight Aqualine 10000 reef lighting system 2x150w MH lamps
    2b) Aqua Medic Moon Lamp

misc filters, fans, pumps, chemicals, books, etc.,

    Hi Clayton
    Welcome to Reefland!

I think most of your items are specific, which is good cuz you know exactly what you are looking for but unless you have some flexibility or time to wait then you may be looking for a diamond in the rough As far as pricing goes....do comparative shopping on all the boards, ebay and newspapers...also check aquarium/reef clubs IMO they have some of the best deals! Re: How to price equipment for sale?

ebay has some great deals, but on craigslist I managed to pick up a nice 75gal. tank($200) with stand($150), 2 new aquaclear 110 filters($100each), new heater($25), 6boxes of filter media($60) and some miscellaneous decorations, lighting, driftwood and 200lbs of gravel all for a flat $100

I passed up a 55gal completely setup and established tank for $400 and got a better deal 3 weeks later. The deals are out there, just bide your time and they'll come to you as you look
