    Cleaning Magnet Leakage

    Hey all,
As some of you know I took down my tank 6+ months ago because it was cursed. I started things back up fresh about a week ago. As I was going though some of my stuff I pulled this out of the box (Magnavore 6). It wasn't like this when I put it away 6 months ago.

I wonder if this could have added to the curse?

im not certain which metals in particular are the worst for an aquarium but if the magnet was leaching zinc magnesium or whatever else was used in manufacturing including adheasive it may have poisoned your tank. Im sure Ninong or someone else with more knowledge can offer more insight than i, but thats just my 2 cents.

it was...It took a few months out of the tank for it to split like that..

    Doug, you'd think it couldn't be good...I don't know.
