I think the title of this thread about sums it up!!!! It doesn't look as tho the fixture even tries to have individual reflectors for the T5 bulbs, which makes them a little more effective. JMHO
It might be OK for a fish only, but I don't think I would use it for a reef, I would like to get the optimum use out of my bulbs.

OK for a Fish Only tank? What do you mean? Don't fish only tank require only about 30 watts of standard fluorescent lighting?
Never heard that???? A fish only tank is exactly what it says.

I don't understand :P
I was questioning why anyone would buy a T5 system for a fish only tank. What would be the benefits of this versus a standard output fluorescent?
This was the first post, and I thought I offered my opinion of that particular light?????Has anyone seen/used anything like this?

Maybe a person would buy that light for the purpose of looking to the future, but again, I think it would be great if you only wanted to grow mushrooms, which is what I meant!!!!!!!!
What type of system are you wanting?
