    RO Membrane/unit

    been getting ro water from the medical facility wife works at, getting to be a pain to lug (for her) from work to home. any input on a good ro unit?
    have well water so i dont know what type of membrane to go with. someone is giving me a unit but i have no idea what brand or how big, picking up on sat. dont know if i will buy new membrane or just get a whole new unit. any input on wellwater membrane?

    hey Russ, i'll keep you in mind when i need supplys, ended up going with an Hi-S membrane and added a DI unit, speaking of DI, any input on lifespan of resin.....thanks, Dave

    The lifespan of DI resin depends upon how much water you run through it, and how clean that water is. If you can tell me the TDS of your RO water I can give you an estimate of the number of gallons you should get out of a 10" x 2.5" resin refill.
