P.S. -- Don't feel bad. It usually sells for US$45 at most American online vendors and that equals $57 CDN now that the price of oil has dropped by $100/bbl and the looney has plunged from a high of US$1.08 to US$0.79.

Real maple syrup is also a lot cheaper now.

Maybe not for long. I heard a few years ago that as climate changes the maple trees are dying off so unless the Maple tree farmers move farther north we'll run out of Maple Syrup.
