i just got it today and the cunstruction of the actual skimmer is awsome it is 10 times better then any of the other skimmer i have seen (i have seen a lot) it ben runing for about 3 hours and hasent skimmed yeat. the instruction say to keep the level in the skimmer low for the first few hours but the question i have now is were should the water level be after the break in peiriod the instuctoins dont mention were the optimum water level in the skimmer is. also how long did it take your skimmer to realy start working? thanks for all the help, i have also checked euro-reefs web page and it has no aditional info on it

Howdy,
My CS6-3 started skimming fairly soon. I have the top of the water right below where you remove the collection cup, that way I don't have to mess with the flow to keep the water from overflowing when the cup it off. I secong that the Euroreef's are one of the best built skimmers around. Scott.
