Dosing pumps

Hey guys,
I need a dosing pump bad. I had my third flood in two months (past 10 years) today caused by my top-off system. Its all been my fault but I'm just sick and tired of it.....I wan't one that will work 24/7 and plug into my float switch. I figure I'll still run it off my float switch at a little higher rate then evaporation......What's the BEST DEAL out there for a GOOD dosing pump....

TIA

Hi there! I don't know if I can help you, BUT I just ordered a refurbed dosing pump from www.reefdosingpumps.com It comes with a full one year warrenty and he will refund my money if it's not the pump that works for me. Seems pretty fool proof. He has several pumps, perhaps one that will work for you. I know the one I got, The Commander, will not work with a float switch, which I too have. This piece of equip. will become obsolete should this work for me. It's coming Tues. and I'll be more than happy to test it out for ya and let you know around Wed. evening or Thurs. what I think of it. It's costing me $119. It's a two channel doser, though it does not need to be used as two channels. It will dose up to 3.8 gallons a day. It is digital. There. That's about all I know about it. I'm keeping my float switch for now just in case. I needed something a bit more stable to add kalk with. And this is a steady dosing unit. You can dose anywhere from 1 ml per hour to 600 ml per hour(using both channels; 300 ml per hour with just one channel). I'm sorry to hear about your accident. It's really frustrating I know. HTH a little!

Thanks so much Joanne, I made a bid on a pump on Ebay. I have been looking at the Liter meter and think I might go with it......
