Need advice - is this ro/di acceptable? Or should I upgrade?

I'm on a limited budget (go figure, yay economy!) but I need an ro/di - badly. My tank has been overrun by algae and buying water at $1.25 per gallon is a silly idea... although necessary, at this time, since I don't have my own ro/di system.

This 5 stage looks interesting, I'm considering buying it.

5 Stage Reverse Osmosis Deionization System Bulk Reef Supply

I have a 72 gallon reef tank that only needs 10 gallons a week changed, so I'm sure I'll need to purchase a float device...

My question is, is this a decent ro/di setup? What else will I need to purchase, other than a holding tank and a float, to get in business making my own algae resistant water?

    Thanks!

    -Adam

there is a miracle cure for alge, do a good water change, feed your fish less and the main ingredient is to use a good amount of rowa phos, this has worked brill for me my rocks are all now bright purple!

    Thanks Paul.

Unfortunately, that's not enough - I need to combat the local water. I haven't fed my fish in months, I change water every year, and my rocks may or may not be purple under the green stuff. I'll let you know once I get rid of the algae.

Should do nicely... I have a 75gpd 4 stage coralife unit that works fine for me. Check the tds of the output water periodically to determine when you need to replace the filter membranes.

You might want to add a TDS meter to monitor the output. You may or may not need a booster pump depending on the water pressure where you live.

    Good luck!
