Re: How to know if you have the right FLOW.

You know what the real dilemma is here?????????? I am 11x your daughters age, and I still can't figure out how to do a drawing on this computer. Let's clarify that.........................any computer!!!!! If that is a preschool drawing, where does that put me.

    Ok back to flow,

So if internal flow is not counting the return than my total flow is only 1200?

Re: How to know if you have the right FLOW.

I have a 72" long 125 gal also, I would say use at least 2 powerheads maybe more.
I just purchased a Tunze 6045 to go along with my 6065. The 6065 is kinda large for the tank but there's still dead zones so I will put the 6045 on the opposite wall and lower than the 6065 and also more towards the back wall. That way all areas are covered. Top front to back from return nozzles, right to left from front middle down from 6065 and left to right from back bottom aimed upwards from the 6045. I shouldn't have any more dead zones. I did I mention my electric bill was $410??

Re: How to know if you have the right FLOW.

Tommy I dont think i could keep my tank if i had a 410 power bill every month. I would be looking into solar packs if I was spending that on just power.

Hope my tank buddys dont mind dead spots.

Changed my Tank Flow added two K2s to the tankAttachment 12039

It made my anemone move to the back side of my tank though

Re: How to know if you have the right FLOW.

Maybe make an adjustment or two on them and give the anemone a little time. He obviously doesn't like the change!!!! Like I said, give him a little time, he will fine a home again when he gets tired of being in the dark.!!!!

Looks like you prolly have lots of movement going on. It should keep your tank nice and crystal clear. Is it?

I have a beautiful anemone that has taken up residence in the back of my tank uder a rock.
Is it a bad idea to move her?

Re: How to know if you have the right FLOW.

    That sounds a little pornographic..haha.
Mine is in a similar location. I have to peek thru some rocks to see her hiding. She opens up tho so she must be happy. She looks like a flourescent white carnation.
