Question Remora Pro Owners

I got one and put it on my tank (sump actually) a week ago last friday. It has kicked in and seems to be really pulling out lots of gunk. But the Rio 1400 that came with it buzzes like a hornet's nest. It's louder than my overflow and fans put together. Can anyone suggest a replacement? I was thinking maybe a mag5.
Thanks, Bill

Bill,
I replaced the Rio on my RemoraPro w/ a Mag5. It worked perfectly. I'd say go for it.

Thanks Aragorn.
What is the outlet size on the mag5, is it 3/4" MPT like the mag12 or smaller?

Yes, it's the same inlet and outlet diameter as the Mag12.

Anyone know a website that sells the mag 5? And is there any maxi-jets that work well with the remora pro or is the mag 5 a good choice? I've had 2 Rio pumps now and i must say that i feel they are junk, my opinion only of course i'm sure there are some that have had good luck. Please let me know .

Thanks
Chad
